Does anyone know where I can buy 5 gal of furnace oil. Used to get it delivered and now they want to inspect the good old furnace and she won't pass inspection. I need the fuel, but have to get it myself via 5 gal can. Sure would like some input for the Niagara Falls area. a friend of rdrunner1

TUrtLE, I know who else is here. dvpearce diligently posts prices just slightly east of where I am, on both sites, is a "top 5" leader on this site, and is never seen in this forum OR on that OTHER, more FUN, gas price forum. Gastips.com seems to be for the more serious types. I'm surprised no one has yet made comments on our friendly banter in here, since we don't talk ANYTHING about gas prices.
I assume this other person participates in the GB BB. Is it a Toronto person? Is it gettinhosed? He was here once.
So - will prices ever go back down to 60 cents a litre? (I had to say that!)

Do I know thee? SuperSue I'm not sure. I really don't recall, but I do know TUrtLE and PennGas, who hang around TUrtLE's annex. I am just an occasional visitor there, a rather quiet fellow.
Here is a hint ... I once used a handle on here but it wouldn't fit (too many characters) when I tried to join that OTHER site. So I dropped the vowels. I did reappear for a little while here as my other self, but have since adopted the gear selections from a Powerglide transmission.

I live in stoney creek and work at mcmaster, so I saw everything from cheap prices near mac to a crazy lineup at the shell station at 1.99 a litre at a shell/macs milk place on dewitt(around the corner from me)Why dont people drive to the better priced stations?And the hurricane has nothing to do with it, all gasolene in canada is refined in canada, its pure unadulterated profiteering.Remember the high stations and NEVER return to them.

CNN continues to say gas could be $5.00 gal in the US. If they predict it you know it will happen.
